For the final weeks of work last year I was happily in artistic residency Casa Intermitente in Mar del Plata, Argentina! What a refreshing trip it was, to be plucked from the onset of finnish winter and dropped in the middle of an early summer in a Southern-Hemisphere Atlantic beach resort, with an absolute gem of an artistic community to welcome us!
We were working there with Carolina Arandia, who has some personal history with the sites, sights and sounds. Recording those sounds, exploring the coast, getting acquinted with waves upon waves upon waves is what we spent most of our time on. Along with of course the mandatory (but oh so lovely) asado, hunting for the just-right-real-copy Maradona shirt and stumbling upon the random penguin, hanging out with the surfers on the beach one afternoon!

What a beautiful time, and a promising residency for something coming up soon. Thank you Argentina! Thank you Casa Intermitente! And thank you Bazaar Festival for making this possible! I hope to come back, the sooner the better.
